Joan Kofodimos – Partner

Joan Kofodimos

Joan is a founding partner of Teleos Consulting. She focuses on helping individual leaders gain insight into style and impact, broaden their strategic perspective, improve stakeholder relationships, and become more effective in reaching their goals. She is especially interested in supporting the growth of women leaders.

Joan developed Teleos methods for executive coaching, including assessment, feedback, development planning, and the coaching conversation. She trains Teleos coaches and coaches internal to client organizations, and helps organizations develop systematic approaches to executive coaching. She also developed Teleos’ methods for helping individual executives understand and overcome personal roadblocks to increased effectiveness.

Joan’s recent clients include Pfizer, Sapient Global Markets and SapientNitro, Dana Corporation, NBT Bancorp, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, G.E. Power Systems and Capital, P&G, Merck, Hewlett Packard, and AstraZeneca. Joan also served as a consultant to the nationally known G.E. WorkOut program, which helped transform G.E. into a fast, flexible, and high performing organization. She led project teams focused on workforce diversity and process redesign initiatives, and she also designed and delivered facilitative leadership training.

Joan was a Behavioral Scientist and Trainer at the Center for Creative Leadership, where she co-created APEX, an unprecedented program for coaching senior executives. At CCL, she also developed and delivered strategic leadership programs for senior management teams. Later, Joan served on the faculty of Duke University and the California School of Professional Psychology.

Joan is the author of numerous publications, including Your Executive Coaching Solution: Getting Maximum Benefit from the Coaching Experience and Balancing Act: How Managers Can Integrate Successful Careers and Fulfilling Personal Lives. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Sociology from Stanford University, as well as a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Yale University.

 

Kyle Dover – Partner

Kyle Dover

Kyle is a founding partner in Teleos Consulting. He focuses on helping leaders build top talent, align talent with strategy, and learn and apply skills needed to optimize performance. He has a special interest in helping leaders develop and apply strategic perspective and influence skills.

Kyle developed Teleos methods to clarify organization purpose, align performance and talent management systems, and develop collaborative leadership skills throughout an organization. He conceived and executed unique training programs for collaboration, performance management, influence, conflict resolution, and managerial coaching. Kyle also developed a new theory and methods that enable organizations to assess for, select, and develop strategic perspective and skills.

Some of Kyle’s recent clients include Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sapient Nitro, MetLife, Rolls-Royce, Merck, Dana, Medco, and G.E. Aircraft Engines. Previously, he served as a managing consultant for Novations Group, where he directed strategic organization design projects at both company and business-unit levels. He also held management positions in organizational and leadership development for Abbott Laboratories and Wendy’s International.

Kyle served as a consultant on the nationally-recognized General Electric WorkOut and Change Acceleration programs, which transformed the G.E. culture to create fast, flexible, and high performing organizations. In these programs, Kyle coached senior executives, directed WorkOut sessions, and conducted program evaluations. He also led project teams focused on cycle time reduction, integrating product design and assembly, and work simplification and empowerment.

Kyle holds a B.S. in Education and a Master’s in Human Resource Management and Organization Development from Ohio State University.
